Why can't Direct DNS provide reverse lookups?
Directnic's Direct DNS can resolve your IP from your domain name, but reverse lookups (resolve the domain name from the IP) are not possible. Reverse IP resolution is handled by your ISP or whomever controls your IP address. In their DNS, they have to map your IP to the reverse lookup name. Please contact your ISP or hosting company in regard to reverse lookups.See Also:
