How do I change nameservers of my domain?
To change your namservers: . 1. Log in to your account, click on the "Domain Manager" link. The direct URL is https://directnic.com/myaccount/manager/ 2. CLick on the "Change Nameserver Information" computer icon located to the right of your domain name, under the "Options" heading. 3. Replace the nameserver information listed with Nameserver 1 with the primary DNS information, and Nameserver 2 with the secondary. 4. Click on the "Modify" button at the bottom of the page. Note that when a modification of nameserver information is made through Directnic, the nameservers of Directnic are updated instantly. The propagation of nameserver information throughout the Internet is contingent on how often the other nameservers update their information. It takes between 15 minutes to 48 hours to be fully propagated. Please be aware that once you change from Directnic's default to your own nameserver, all Directnic services used by that domain will be canceled. Your site files will be removed as well. Make sure you have saved a copy of all your files on your own computer.See Also:
