Can I use Directnic email service along with Direct DNS?

You can use Directnic POP3 and email forwarding service along with Direct DNS Pro under the following circumstances:

1) The Directnic MX records must be the ONLY MX records, i.e., you can either use our email service or use your own mail server. Do not mix the two.

2) For email forwarding, the mail must be forwarded to addresses associated with a different domain, i.e., you can't forward mail from our server to yours.

To add Directnic email services to a Direct DNS Pro domain:

1. Go to Domain Manager under My Account, and then click the email icon under Options to the right of the domain.

2. Next, on the Email Services page, you can click Add POP3 Account or Add Forward Rule to add email forwarding rules or new pop3 accounts.

3. Complete the Check Out process if you are buying a pop3 account.

4. The Directnic MX records will be added automatically and will delete all previous MX records.
