Note: The default homepage page (first page) for your site must be named index.html or index.htm, all in lower case.

An example domain name and user name were used through the instructions. Please substitute your own directNIC domain name and login information for the account used in the instructions.

Uploading Steps:

1. Upon opening the program you will see the following

2. From the File menu choose New FTP Site or click on the single computer icon. ( ).

3. This opens the FTP site properties window. First uncheck "Anonymous Login" and then fill in the fields as shown:

For the Label field, you can use whatever you want; this simply is to reference the site in Cupertino.

Then click OK to save the information

4. To log in, simply double click the Site Label you want to log into in the left window. Any folders or files you have in that directory will appear in the right window.

5. Now at the top of the left window are your local drives. Find the folder for the files you wish to upload and double click on that. Now all the folders and files will appear in the right window. Choose the folders and files you wish to upload from the right window, and click and drag them to the Site Label in the left window to which you are uploading.

5. Now you can log out by clicking on the Disconnect Icon () or choosing Disconnect from the pulldown Tools menu.
