Note: The default homepage page (first page) for your site must be named index.html or index.htm, all in lower case.

An example domain name and user name were used through the instructions. Please substitute your own directNIC domain name and login information for the account used in the instructions.

Uploading Steps:

1. Using Internet Explorer to upload is easy. In the address bar type ftp://username:Password@yourdomainname.com
This will log you into the Home Directory.

2. From here open (double click) the folder for the Domain Directory (the folder with the name of your domain) to which you want to upload. Inside you will see any files already uploaded to the site.

3.Once in the Domain Directory, open the folder on your computer with the files you will be uploading. Then simply click and drag the files from your computer into the Domain Directory.

4. Once the files are uploaded you will be able to see them in the folder. To log out simply enter another URL in the browser or close the browser entirely.
