What is Direct Privacy?
Understanding Direct Privacy: Your Online Shield
Domain Contact Requirements: Domain contact rules require that domain registrations include valid contact information, which is publicly visible in the WHOIS database to ensure transparency regarding who owns the domain name.
Your Privacy Solution: Direct Privacy helps you keep your personal information hidden in WHOIS lookups by providing alternative contact details. This allows you to protect your privacy while meeting ICANN's requirements.
Affordable Protection: Direct Privacy by Directnic costs just $5 per year per domain. By default, the Direct Privacy service is automatically added to your shopping cart when any domain name registration added to the cart.
Manage with Ease: You can control whether Direct Privacy is automatically added to your shopping cart when a domain is added. To adjust your settings:
- Log in to your Directnic account.
- Hover over "Account Info" and select "Edit Profile."
- Click the "Site Settings." tab on the left.
- Choose your preference under "Automatically Add Privacy to Domain Purchases." and click "Save".
