How do I restore a backup to cPanel?

You can restore backups created from another cPanel hosting platform by using the Backup tool inside the Hosting Console. 

  1. Log in to your Hosting Console and click on the Backup tool
  2. Locate your saved backup file then upload it to the correct section.

Full Backup files can only be restored by our Server Administrator. If you are trying to restore a Full Backup, you would have to follow these steps:

  1. Upload the backup file either via the File Manager tool in cPanel or via FTP.
  2. Create a ticket specifying the location of the backup file and your intent. We will get in touch with you once the process has been completed.
