Can I update my TTL for my DNS records?

Adjusting DNS TTL

You can modify the Time to Live (TTL) for DNS records in your Directnic Dashboard. To update your TTL, here's a simple guide to follow:

  1. Access your Directnic.com account securely by logging in.
  2. Hover your cursor over the “My Services” section in the navigation bar.
  3. From the drop-down menu, choose “Domains.”
  4. Click on the domain name for which you want to manage DNS records.
  5. Under the “Services” section, look for and click the “Manage” button positioned to the right of DNS.
  6. Scroll down and in the "DNS Time to Live Value" field, enter your desired TTL (measured in seconds).
  7. After entering the new TTL value, click the "Update" button.

Please be aware that the minimum TTL for DNS records created through Directnic is 600 seconds. By following these steps, you can effectively adjust the TTL to meet your specific requirements for DNS records associated with your domain.
