How do I update a DNS record that I've already created?

Updating DNS Records: A Step-by-Step Guide

Updating a DNS record you've previously created is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

  1. Access your Directnic Dashboard by logging in.
  2. Hover your cursor over the “My Services” section in the navigation bar.
  3. From the drop-down menu, choose “Domains.”
  4. Click on the specific domain name for which you want to manage the DNS records.
  5. Under the “Services” section, locate and click the “Manage” button positioned to the right of DNS.
  6. In the "Manage DNS Records" section, click the edit button in the options column and make the necessary updates to the data for the DNS record you wish to change.
  7. Once you've made the desired updates, click the green "edit record" button to save your change.

Note: If you're using Directnic's hosting services with the DNCHOSTING.COM nameservers, you'll manage DNS records through cPanel in the Zone Editor.

By following these steps, you can easily update your DNS records to reflect any changes you need for your domain. It's a crucial task for maintaining the accuracy and functionality of your online presence.
